April 24 -- As high school girls get ready for the prom this year, they are faced with the age-old question: What do I wear?

Fashion experts say pink is in this year, but for those who want to be different, so is punk. Good Morning America held a fashion show to take a look at the latest trends. Since the average prom dress is $250 to $300, the decision can be costly.

Here are six styles for the prom that appeared on the show.

Princess Look: For girls who want a sweet, demure style. Pink Sparkle Dress from Blondie Nights, $158or Zum Zum, pink embroidered dress, price not available.
