Transcript for 15-Foot Python Escapes Pet Store, Strangles Sleeping Boys
We're going to begin with the investigation into how a killer snake was able to make its way from a pet store and into an apartment, strangling two young boys when they were sleeping. A town, now demanding answers. Boys were sleeping over at a family friend's apament here, above the ocean reptile of new bruns wake, a python like this one, broke loose of its cage. I turn the lights on. And I see the horrific scene. Reporter: The owner said the snake slid into the ventilation system, up through the living room, where noah and conner were sleeping. The 100-pound snake, similar to this albino giant found last week, fell from the skreeling. One snake expert isn't surprised. And said the snake was hungry. Snakes only constrict for food. He was hungry. It's ridiculous. I can't believe this is real. So sad. And neighbors in the small canadian town say the boys loved animals and visited the store often.
