Politics now President Obama has started his eight -- summer vacation on Martha's Vineyard he and Michelle boarded a flight yesterday. Meanwhile this -- and in the key state of Iowa the race to replace President Obama appears. Unbelievably to be in full swing even on election and more than three years out. So let's bring in George Stephanopoulos host of this week George had never been good at math but I think we've got 29 months. Before the election what is going on both parties bowling event. That it's only two years until the Iowa straw poll stuff that's everybody's out there to -- entire city all of the first caucus -- we all know how important is it launched. President Obama back in 2008. And this is a wide open race particularly. On the Republican side what was so interest thing. But what was happening and I was -- you had a lot of contenders. Other people like Ted Cruz. I was -- his second or third trip to Iowa this year -- Rick Santorum going again remember he did so well last time around by visiting every county. They all know. That this is a big prize next time around on the Republican side and there's no heir apparent on the democratic side this was basically -- rally for Hillary Clinton he saw Claire McCaskill right -- she's a senator from Missouri. Was for Barack Obama. Forty years ago and now out there pumping for Hillary. And it sure looks like this is tough state for four years ago he sure looks like right now that nomination is hers for the taking going -- major -- And so much focus on the evolution in the future of the Republican Party you actually have Donald Trump on the show this morning -- yes firm warning for the party. He -- -- he's out there and Iowa this weekend as well -- gallon Jonathan Karl has been warning is -- immigration reform he says this is a death wish passing immigration reform. -- a death wish for the Republican Party. Who is -- -- bringing new democratic voters. To the polls and in this comes at a time when a lot of members of congress are going home. Well -- just recess trying to figure out whether they should move forward on immigration reform would be intensity is on the other side. It's a very rough road and house representatives for this reform. You know 2016 heat is serious when the Donald shows up next. Welcome back yes I'm running back are at stake here George had a big show this morning including an exclusive interview with -- Snowden dad -- -- and that's coming up.
