Transcript for Robin Roberts to Guest Judge on 'Dancing with the Stars'
Well, week two "Dancing with the stars" fair to say full of shocking announcements. Oh, yeah. Already, but I want you to hang on, people. Buckle up. We have another one for you. We are so excited, in fact, that all three judges, Len and Bruno and Carrie Ann I think stayed up to join us live from los Angeles, but, thank you all for waking up early. Look at Bruno. Are we going to get that announcement? Can I get a drum roll, please? That's a long drum roll. Okay. Okay. We got it. Need the cymbal. Can we end the drum roll? Amazing right there. The floor is finally yours. Who wants it? Carrie or Len or Bruno. The big announcement is -- Oh, yes. Oh. We're here. We were waiting for the cue. Hello. Well, okay. As you may be aware from here on on "Dancing with the stars" each week in addition to us three we're going to have a guest judge and to be honest I'm so excited I can't get the words out, Carrie Ann. Well, our first guest judge is the incredible, amazing robin Roberts at the table. Oh. Look, so another chair beside the three of you. You'll be right here. I give you a 10.5. 10.a. Are you awesome. I am nervous but I always -- and which I see every morning -- every day when I watch the show you got to step outside of your comfort zone and being with the three of you, Bruno, I know you danced with PETA and I had the good fortune of dancing with Maks and helped me get ready for a milestone birthday but you can't play favorites. How do you judge? Oh, absolutely not. I adore them all as you all know. Nevertheless, you have to call each dance as you see it. Be courageous and be gentle. What kind of judge are you going to be? Are you going to be tough? Well, I have three great examples right there. I don't know. Ah. I have no idea. I think Len -- I think it's contractually obligated to be nice to you as another judge. I think he has to be. Len, do you promise to be on your best behavior. I'm always nice. Always adorable. Adorable. We love guest judges. It's fun. Robin, the key is just be honest and then it works. Yes. We'll have great fun together. We always have great fun. I feel that I'm going -- Take the table. I'm going to take the perspective of those who nor northally watch at home because you know we watch and we think that we know what's going on and so I think I will bring that perspective to the three experts that you are but let's talk a little about last night. What really stood out with you last night? Ooh. Well, for me I think the standard that we've got this season is incredible. There were so many fantastic dancers on that show. I was really impressed with Amy Purdy what she brings is so exciting. I mean we've never seen anybody like her on the show and -- What they do, as well, we never have time to comment about. Our dancers push these people to their limit every time. Every season surprises me. I have known this for years but every time I come and watch the show, these kids come out with brilliant ideas. Over and over again and push them technically so far. They work really hard. We have to comment and express an opinion. Nevertheless, we appreciate what they do. Our admiration for all of them is incredible. Yes. All right. Well, hey -- I loved this last night, wow. I know. It was great. I'm going to love next week. Oh, yes. Just a little bit more. Take care of our robin. In case I forget to tell you, I had a great time. I had a great time tonight. Thank you, three. I can't wait to see you. I know I'll be in great hands and I'll just hold up the 10 the whole time because if you're doing -- we got three perfect 10s right here. Now, go to bed. I'll hide your 10. Again, judge Roberts, "Dancing with the stars," next Monday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern right here. Look at that. On ABC. We definitely won't hassle you on Twitter all night. Ginger made her way outside.
