This case involves a couple who seemed to have it all, living and working together for more than a decade until a nasty breakup that prosecutors say became criminal. ? Reporter: A bomb shell model for top designer turned successful businesswoman becoming the sultry face of her own skin care line. The image of Monica Olson's seemingly charmed life now shattered with her millionaire husband in jail, awaiting trial more allegedly trying to have her killed. Seen here in this interview about sda regulation is the founder of a multimillion dollar natural products company which distributed his wife's skin care line sold at hundreds of drugstores nationwide. I have almost 400 employees. I am a success story. Reporter: But the business went bust, filing for bankruptcy after he was arrested in October, accused of attempted willful, deliberate and premeditated murder and solicitation of murder. According to court documents, he asked a friend to kill Olsen. That friend recorded their conversation and went to police. When the jury hears the tapes, they'll understand that he was manipulated by somebody who was trying to help himself. Reporter: His defense attorney says his client was set up in the midst of a bitter divorce battle. Olsen declined to comment but is reportedly focussed on rebuilding a once glamorous life, hoping to save her home and business. He is now in jail on $10 million bail, expected to remain there at least until his trial is complete. That's expected to begin next month.
