Time to get out and give sharing stories of incredible people making a difference in communities across the nation. It's part of ABC's be inspired initiative and this morning, the young boy whose mission it is to bring a smile to the faces of kids in the hospital. ? Reporter: A child's smile can melt your heart and light up any room but it may be harder to find those smiling faces in children's hospitals much that's where we find this boy. I was playing violin for a youth group at a pediatric hospital and what I noticed most of these kids didn't have anything in their rooms. Reporter: At the ripe age of 8 martand found out an organization kids and smiles. In just three years he organized countless social activities and donated nearly a thousand toys to hospitals in the L.A. Area. I think it's wonderful how people can be so kind in this world. For them to see that all really makes me feel good. Reporter: Here at new york-presbyterian Morgan Stanley children's hospital, it's the gift of art lighting up the hallways. You see all these paintings hung on the wall. They're brand-new submitted by tons of students. Just a little extra icing on that smile cake. Inspired by martand and those artists I invited a few friends. ? ? say what you want to say ? Reporter: The children AIDS society gifting the Sara Bareilles song. But they were not done yet.
