Now to Kate spade's mission to empower women and looked around the world to find the right group of women. Reporter: On purpose it's Kate spade and company's hottest new line of accessories crafted by 150 women in a small village in Rwanda, every piece is handmade and one of a kind. This is a for profit venture that you're encompasses upon. Why Rwanda. We found this incredible group of women that got together post-general side 20 years ago and looked to tart to put their life back together again. Reporter: From bracelets to inclusives to scarves, items are flying off the shelves. Some are even sold out online. Still all available in our stores and also it's a continuing project so in the fall we have we'll deliver new pieces. I can see the Kate spade brand, the touch is still there. The company believes by empowering women to empower themselves, it will ultimately influence their communities for the better. Whether they are machine operators in terms of machine sewing or detailed embroiderers they are about 40% higher than what that average wage is in Rwanda. Reporter: They're help to financially support their families and send their children to school. It's been so rewarding and you see it in them. You see it in their faces and their demeanor.
