One -- seven year quest for a -- -- kidney transplant has been -- rail thanks to a one day hospital strike. -- Rivera is married with three children he's been on dialysis for the past year. And is scheduled for his long awaited kidney transplant next Wednesday. Was until unionized patient care workers at UC San Diego picked that day for 24 hour work stoppage. They informed me that they would be canceling my surgery due to the nurse's strike that was gonna happen on November 20.
