So before the internet and smartphones we would actually have to use phones to call about movie times and so many of us remember that booming voice behind moviefone. Now the company is looking for a new voice and it could be yours. ABC's nick watt has the story. Reporter: Back in my youth when Costner was the prince of she was. Reporter: And this morning, moviefone is launching the search for a new voice. It could be you. You could be 18 or you could be 80. The key is really to find someone who is compelling and powerful and resonates. Reporter: The original moviefone man, a movie critic with a mullet became a pop cultural colossus. Hello and welcome to moviefone. Reporter: Launched in '89 the service peaked in the mid '90s with 3 million callers a week. Please say the name of the movie you'd like to see now.
