We begin with that story breaking overnight on mud slide four miles long and two miles wide. Has struck just west of Denver the wall of mud came crashing down an area near the town of -- -- There are no reports of any structures damaged but three people are missing. That money is about 250. Feet deep in some areas the slide was triggered by heavy rain. And hundreds of people have been forced from their homes as a massive wildfire in southern Alaska grows larger the flames now burning 218 square miles. On the -- -- peninsula a fire like this is rare in Alaska this early in the season. Some encouraging news though from the firefight in Arizona the wildfire between Sedona and Flagstaff is now 25%. Contained. Pre evacuation orders are expected to be lifted today.
