We begin with the big scare for passengers on a flight from Chicago to California. A man on board began acting strangely and then his actions took a terrifying turn. This cell phone video captures the dramatic ending to a horrifying incident midair. Some gentleman just decided that he wanted us to visit the lord today. Reporter: Monique Lawler was 1 of 135 aboard flight 722 en route from Chicago midway to Sacramento when it was forced to land in Omaha all reportedly because of this man, Lawler says he was acting strangely at one point going to the bathroom and coming out soaking wet then trying to open the plane's emergency exit. One of the stewardesses started screaming. Reporter: Lawler says a large passenger tackled T unruly passenger. Kind of subdued him. Held him down and needless to say we were helping the gentleman who held him down. Reporter: Authorities meeting the plane when it landed escorting the man off. The rest of the passengers made it to their destination with a dramatic story to tell. Southwest confirms that an unruly passenger was taken off the plane but would not confirm any other details.
