Question: How long will it take for benzodiazepine treatment to help my anxiety disorder?

Answer: One of the great things about benzodiazepines is they actually work very quickly. So some people who have a response actually after one or even a few doses of medication, so they're very good medications to manage anxiety symptoms urgently and in situations where people need rapid effects from medications.
