— -- Question: Are there any herbal or dietary supplements that will help treat my anxiety disorder?

Answer: No herbal or dietary supplements have been approved for the treatment of anxiety disorders. However, some individuals do find them helpful and if you do that's fine to keep using them. Many people with anxiety are bothered by caffeine and they will notice that their anxiety gets worse if they have caffeine. So that may be something to avoid.

Some people are also bothered by sugar or can't get to sleep if they've had sugar in the evening and that may be something to avoid.
