What Is Euthymia?

Question: What is euthymia?

Dr. Roy Perlis answers the question: 'What Is Euthymia?'

Answer: Euthymia is really just a fancy way of referring to periods of time when people are essentially in a normal mood -- so not consistently elevated, not consistently depressed, and not having a lot of symptoms of mania or depression. So euthymia is really just normal mood.
