— -- Question: At What Age Should I Start Having My Blood Pressure Checked And How Often Should It Be Done?

Answer: The blood pressure should be checked at an early age by the pediatrician, and then when you're a teenager, and then when you're an adult. If it's normal, you don't have to check it very often, but if it's high then you need to check it more often in order to be sure that it's always high or not always high-- maybe you're just upset.

So you want to be sure that the blood pressure is normal. Now if it is high, then you should also see your doctor about getting it lowered with medicine.
