We have some very exciting and innovative research ongoing at UVA, we are doing clinical trials in using breast cancer vaccines to treat breast cancer and well as hopefully ultimately preventing breast cancer. And we are also looking at cell signaling which is basically how cells talk to each other.

Cancers don't necessarily speak nicely to other cells and we have to learn to control that better.
We also are looking at using some plant extracts from plants in the Amazon which may be very useful for treating breast cancers.
We also are looking at breast density, and how the whiteness of the mammogram can be controlled.
We are trying to find the genes that control the whiteness of the mammogram because we know that increases breast density. So we have a lot of ongoing clinical trials that are really exciting.
