— -- Question: Should I get pregnant after completing breast cancer treatment and will the pregnancy increase my risk for recurrence?

Answer: We don't have truly definitive studies looking at this issue although most of the studies suggest that if a woman is cancer free and doing well after her breast cancer that getting pregnant doesn't seem to increase her risk of having a recurrence of cancer. This is something, though, that is very much an individual decision and very much something that a woman needs to talk about in depth with her doctor.
