Question: How soon can I go back to work following a TRUS-guided biopsy?

Answer: Patients can generally return to work after transrectal ultrasound the next day. There are some situations in which individuals may be required to take more time off, such as blood in the urine or stool. But typically it's an outpatient procedure that is well tolerated.
