Question: How many shots should I be getting this flu season?

Answer: This flu season, the number of shots that you will get depends a little bit on your age and whether you've ever been vaccinated. If you've never received the usual seasonal flu vaccine before, you'll need to have two shots of that. In addition, you'll need two shots of the swine flu vaccine. So children that have never received any flu vaccine in the past will need four shots.

Those children that have been immunized last year that received a full course of immunization will only need one seasonal vaccine and two swine flu's, so a total of three.
