— -- Thousands at the Red Devils' Whitehaven Air Show in the United Kingdom held their breath Friday night when one of the men's parachutes seemed like it failed to open during a stunt, though a Facebook post later said the parachutes opened and the two men simply became tangled together.

The spokesperson originally said the man's teammate saw him plummeting down, so he quickly grabbed his parachute ropes in mid-air and helped him land safely. But a Facebook post today by the air show said because the two were tangled and unable to complete the stunt, they landed together.

"All the parachutes did open and two of the team were going to perform a stacking maneuver," read the post. "The two members of the team then managed to get tangled and were unable to complete the display as would usually happen."

The two "continued with a semi controlled descent into a clear piece of water where the rescue services we had on standby were called into action and were literally on the scene within seconds of splashdown," continued the post.

Neither of the men were injured, according to the post.
