Secretary of State John Kerry on Iran Nuclear Talks: 'Not Going to Sit at Negotiating Table Forever'

— -- Speaking for less than five minutes outside the Palais Coburg Hotel here in Vienna, Secretary of State John Kerry told eager reporters that "tough issues remain unsolved" in the Iran nuclear talks, now nine days past the June 30 deadline.

"As I have said many times, we are not going to sit at the negotiating table forever," Kerry said. "We also recognize we shouldn’t get up simply because the clock strikes midnight. We will not rush, and we will not be rushed."

A deal is not expected to be reached today, a senior State Department official told ABC News.

Just minutes before Kerry delivered his remarks, a tweet from Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif's official account said, "We're working hard, but not rushed, to get the job done."
