A London artist painted herself to look like a replica of the famous gold statue in honor of the tournament in Brazil.

"The World Cup trophy is such an iconic symbol around the world so I wanted to try and see if I could represent it in a face paint," Emma Allen told ABC News.

"I have been trying to persuade friends to model for me for a while, but I just kept offending people so I decided to buy a bald cap and have a go myself," she added.

It took about two hours to paint her arms and face and perfect the pose, Allen said.

"I put the cap on, then painted with a variety of golds and black, brown and white. The hardest bit is getting the green on the arms to line up in the final photo. I took a lot of pictures before settling on the final one,” she added.

Allen’s photos went viral shortly after she posted them online. The 33-year-old has more than 10 years experience in body and face-painting.
