His owner, Rennie Berchard, recorded Buddy using his GoDogGo ball thrower last week.

Berchard said she is totally surprised by the response to the video, which has received over 52 million views on Facebook.

"Once he learned how to actually play with it and use it himself, he just became very excited by it," she told ABC News. "He's just thrilled that he can do it on his own, and I think that's the overall excitement for him. But he loves the anticipation."
