Every morning brings new and increasingly random official food days; selections like plum pudding (Feb. 12) and lima bean respect (April 20) day make you wonder who chose these.
Friday, though, is one you will unequivocally want to celebrate. With the participation of major food chains across the country, National Doughnut Day promises to be a serious celebration.
Heavy hitters like Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme have freebies on offer June 6, as well as more local chains. Read on for the full rundown of where to snag a free doughnut Friday.
Cumberland Farms: This convenience and gasoline retailer will be offering a free doughnut with a purchase of any hot or iced coffee or Chill Zone beverage all day long.
