Stuffed Bunny Gets the Hotel Stay of a Lifetime After Girl Leaves It Behind
When a girl left her toy behind, the hotel had a unique way to reunite them.
— -- When a 3-year-old guest of the Adare Manor Hotel in Ireland left her stuffed bunny behind at breakfast before checking out, the hotel had a unique way of reuniting them.
The hotel posted a photo of the lost bunny Saturday on Facebook with the caption, "I lost my owner at breakfast in Adare Manor."
"We got such a huge response that we thought we'd show the bunny's journey and what his stay would be like," Adare Manor spokeswoman Sarah Ormston told ABC News.
The hotel documented the bunny's fabulous stay, from his plush sleepover in one of the hotel's rooms, to a tour by the concierge, to a decadent afternoon tea and even massage treatments in a private room.
The Facebook posts worked, Ormston said.
A friend of Kate's family got in touch with the Adare Manor Hotel Sunday night and the little girl picked up her lost bunny on Monday.
"They were so delighted," Ormston added. "Her mom said Kate was sad being away from her bunny because she sleeps with it every night, but when she saw how much fun the bunny was having she couldn't wait to see him again."
