Valentine's Day Guide: Romantic Red Cocktails

These red-hued cocktails are the perfect addition to any romantic Valentine's Day menu. Whether you like strawberry or watermelon, these adults-only drinks will add a hint of sweetness to a savory meal.

Pour Me A-more

1 part Sauza 901 Tequila
2 parts fresh lime juice
Slices of fresh kiwi
½ part agave nectar

Shake and serve over ice. Garnish with kiwi slices.

Vanderbilt Grace
Love Me Tender

Strawberry puree
Grenadine
Champagne

Place 2 tablespoons of strawberry puree and 1 tablespoon grenadine in a champagne flute. Add champagne and stir.

Blushing Fizz

3 strawberries
2 slices of cucumber
1 sprig of mint
1 ½ oz. Cointreau
¾ oz. Hendrick's gin
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
Top with club soda

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, muddle cucumber strawberries and mint, shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice through a fine mesh strainer. Garnish with a cucumber slice and a sprig of mint. Top with club soda.

Red Hot Ruby

¾ oz. Campari
¾ oz. Santa Teresa 1796 rum
4 oz. mulled wine
Cinnamon stick

Mull white wine with spices and add rum and Campari. Serve with a cinnamon stick.

Your Sparkling Eyes

1 ¼ oz. Campari
¾ oz. Dolin dry vermouth
¾ oz. lime juice
¾ oz. agave nectar
Top with Bortolomiol prosecco
Grapefruit peel

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, muddle cucumber strawberries and mint, shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice through a fine mesh strainer. Garnish with a cucumber slice and a sprig of mint. Top with club soda.

Barefoot
Sweetheart Red Sangria

1 bottle Barefoot Sweet Red wine
8 strawberries, hulled and sliced
25 red seedless grapes cut in half
1 cup lemon-lime soda

Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher. Let it sit for an hour. Pour into iced wine glass and top with a splash of lemon-lime soda.

Barefoot Jewel

1 oz. blueberry pomegranate juice
½ oz. watermelon schnapps
½ oz. cranberry juice
2 oz. Barefoot Brut champagne

Combine juices and schnapps in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill. Strain into chilled champagne flute. Top with Barefoot Bubbly Brut champagne.
