Watch This 3-Year-Old Tell Strangers to Respect Her Space

— -- Zuri Chin is not your average toddler.
About a month ago, the 3-year-old began making a short video series titled: "Living Room Protests," where with the help of her mother, she voiced any issues that have been troubling her.
"We were going to do a protest in Union Square," said Staceyann Chin, a mom, writer, and performer living in Brooklyn, New York. "It ended up raining and I couldn't find a sitter. She [Zuri] was very disappointed that we weren't able to go. She was saying 'I want to protest'!"
Wanting to honor her daughter's adorable request, Chin had another idea in mind.
"I said, 'well, we can film you protesting and put it on the Internet so that people can see it."
Since then, the pair has created three videos.
"After doing the first, she said she wanted to do another one," Chin told ABC News. "We started calling it 'Living Room Protests' and it got a great response."
The most recent protest is led by Zuri, who explains how she doesn't appreciate strangers picking her up without her permission.
The video was posted on YouTube and has over 23,000 views so far.
"We are a family that believes in speaking out against things that we don't agree with," Chin said. "She doesn't like being picked up by strangers and she doesn't like being picked up without being asked. It's not true for everyone, but one of the things I'm continuing to discover is no matter how young children are, I'm finding that they feel the same way that we do as adults."
As for future videos, Chin said, "I think we will keep doing them, but I can't put it on a schedule," Chin said. "It's all about her desire to do them. I'm really on Zuri's timeline."
