Hillary Clinton to Appear on "Nightline"
Cynthia McFadden to sit down in Moscow with America's top diplomat.
Oct 12, 2009 — -- ABC News "Nightline" co-anchor Cynthia McFadden joins Hillary Clinton in Moscow this week as she meets with top Russian leaders, including Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
McFadden accompanies Clinton on the trip at a critical point in the two countries' relationship in regards to Iran's nuclear program, missile defense and the challenges facing the Obama administration in Afghanistan.
McFadden will have exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to Clinton throughout her time in Moscow, the first access of its kind granted since her appointment as secretary of state 10 months ago. In a wide-ranging interview, McFadden will also talk to Clinton about how she has adjusted to her new position, her relationship with President Obama, and her views on the major domestic and foreign policy issues facing the administration.
