Chris brown is a successful R & B artist. But to many he is fast becoming better known for troubling behavior outside of the studio. Today he appeared in court yet again. And we have got the latest from our series "Crime and punishment". ♪ ♪ The don't judge me singer back in court. So what happened this time? It all started with a photo-op, the grammy winning artist and his bodyguard accused of punching 20-year-old parker Adams in the face after he apparently tried to squeeze his way into photos along with female fans outside of this hotel in Washington, D.C. Last fall. The R & B superstar made a brief appearance in court. His trial will begin Monday morning. He is seeking $3 million in damages in a civil lawsuit. Brown and the bodyguard are pleading not guilty. Brown has been arrested on multiple occasions. At the time of this incident he was on probation for assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna. If convicted he could face additional penalties including jail time.
