— -- Easter Monday is a holiday in many countries around the world, and it feels like that on the politics front in this country.

The GOP hopefuls are keeping a low profile on Monday in terms of scheduled events, except for Newt Gingrich, who has two stops planned in North Carolina and his wife Callista has one in New York City. Gingrich is still working hard considering his campaign is in debt and he acknowledged on "Fox News Sunday" that Mitt Romney is "far and away the most likely" GOP nominee.

Rick Santorum had planned to resume campaigning Monday, but he is taking the day off to care for his 3-year-old daughter, Bella, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder and was hospitalized Friday. He does plan to resume campaigning Tuesday. Santorum faces stiff opposition in his home state of Pennsylvania from Romney. The primary there is April 24.

President Barack Obama will meet Monday with Brazil President Dilma Rousseff. The agenda will include energy and the economy.

And then there is this: The annual White House Easter Egg Roll is Monday. It features live music, sports, cooking stations storytelling, and, yes, Easter egg rolling for children aged 13-or-younger and their families. Also, all activities will tie in to first lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" anti-childhood obesity initiative.
