— -- Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump met with campaign donors in New York City today.

Attendees included Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus, who waved to the press upon arrival at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, an early endorser of Trump.

Trump's national finance chairman, Steven Mnuchin, and Woody Johnson, owner of the NFL team the New York Jets, were also spotted entering the hotel.

The attendees are part of Trump Victory, the joint Trump campaign and Republican National Committee fundraising entity.

The first-of-its-kind meeting with big campaign donors is another step forward for Trump as he builds out his operation for the general election.

As he left, former New York City mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis said the meeting was productive.

Ron Weinberg on Weinberg Capital Group also attended the meeting. He told ABC News that he thought the meeting "went terrific."

"I think the main points were the viability of the Trump candidacy," Weinberg said. "He spoke to the group, and in person, he comes across so different than how the media sometimes tries to portray him, so I think he's striking a nerve in the country that we can be better."

Trump also hosted a morning meeting for policy-focused lobbyists. The candidate did not speak to reporters upon leaving the hotel.
