Orrin Hatch, Senator and Love Song Writer

— -- Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is now third in line to the presidency in his new role of as Senate president pro tempore, but he also has a side gig as a prolific songwriter, who has even penned a few love songs.

Hatch, who also serves as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, has written everything from religious hymns to patriotic music and country songs. The longest-serving Republican senator said he writes some of his songs on airplanes and even once in a committee hearing.
