— -- Ronald Reagan’s son is speaking out about the Trump administration’s announcement Tuesday that it plans to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and phase it out over the next six months.

The 40th president's son, Michael Reagan, took to Twitter following the controversial announcement.

He appeared to support President Trump's move to put DACA in Congress' hands, while slamming former President Barack Obama, tweeting, "Congress never voted on DACA. At least Trump wants to allow Congress a say which Obama did not!"

Subsequent tweets read, "Immigration issues belong with the Congress not with POTUS ... POTUS needs to lead and Congress needs to act."

He also maintained, "Fyi, my father would not kick the dreamers out of the US. He would find a way to work with Congress and lead."

Reagan didn't mince words about Democrats, though, tweeting, "U might recall when the Dems were in control of all 3 branches of Govt they did nothing about Immigration reform..."
