Based primarily at the State Department, he reports daily on the wide spectrum of issues related to United States foreign policy and international diplomacy. In that capacity he has followed the Secretary of State abroad to report from Europe to South Asia. Reporting from Washington, D.C., Radia has covered the U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, the negotiations to rid North Korea and Iran of nuclear programs and the Middle East peace process, among other topics. In 2007 he was the first to report the National Intelligence Estimate's assessment that Iran had abandoned its pursuit of nuclear weapons.

Prior to covering the State Department, Radia was a member of the production staff in ABC News' Washington bureau, where he contributed to "World News With Charles Gibson," "Nightline" and "This Week."

Before entering the world of journalism, Radia was a researcher at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., focusing on projects related to the Balkans. He later worked at the Madrid Economic Development Institute in Spain, where he researched the effects of the 2004 European Union enlargement on Madrid's economy.

Originally from New Jersey, Radia is a graduate of Tufts University's International Relations program.
