“Lucy,” starring Scarlett Johansson, hits theaters today. The action-thriller follows a woman who, after a rough run-in, is able to escape her captors and transform into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. “Lucy” was written and directed by Luc Besson and also stars Morgan Freeman.

Fans Flock to San Diego Comic-Con
Guests lined up Thursday in anticipation of San Diego Comic-Con, a four-day event where geeks, nerds and celebrities gather to celebrate their favorite characters from comics and programs. At Comic-Con, Wonder Women, Batman and various “Star Wars” characters, among many others, could be seen enjoying the event, which gives guests the ability to see awesome props, such as a 10-foot-tall transformer and a life-sized Darth Vader-inspired Hot Wheels car.
