— -- Derek Jeter, not surprisingly, will finish the 2014 regular season as the best-selling jersey in Major League Baseball.

As the Yankees shortstop gets ready to retire, Jeter's No. 2 jersey finished No. 1 in the second half of the season, just as it did in the first half, based on online sales in MLB's official shop. Four younger players -- all of whom will be playing in the postseason -- round out the top 5 in post-All-Star break sales released by the league and the MLBPA on Thursday.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw's jersey was the second most popular, followed by the jerseys of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout, San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey and Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig.

Trout and Puig are two of five players on the top 20 list who are 25 or younger. Others in the group include Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado (No. 12), Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon (No. 17) and Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (No. 18).

The Dodgers, with Kershaw, Puig and pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (No. 19), have three players on the top 20 jersey list, tied with the Boston Red Sox, who have designated hitter David Ortiz (No. 6), outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (No. 9) and second baseman Dustin Pedroia (No. 10).

The top 20 list includes a high of nine infielders, but only two pitchers.

Officials at Majestic Athletic told ESPN.com earlier this week that Jeter will wind up as the best-selling baseball jersey of all time.
