— -- TORONTO -- Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose injured his left hamstring late in Thursday night's 100-93 win over the Toronto Raptors and did not return.

Coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game that Rose told him he was fine and that he thought he just tweaked the hamstring.

The star point guard likely will have an MRI on the hamstring Friday, Thibodeau said.

The injury occurred with just less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rose turned over the ball and fell to the floor before walking gingerly back to the bench.

Rose already has missed four games this season because of sprained ankles. In 30 minutes of action Thursday night, Rose scored 20 points, going 5-for-14 from the floor. He had four assists, three rebounds and five turnovers on the night.
