— -- ARLINGTON, Texas -- Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was taken off the field on a stretcher late in the first half of Sunday's 13-12 win over Dallas after receiving a hit from Cowboys safety Jeff Heath.

Lockette suffered a concussion but has full movement in his body, according to the team. He will stay in Dallas overnight to undergo testing.

A fifth-year player, Lockette, 29,  was running with Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones on punt coverage when Heath hit him. Lockette lay motionless on his right side while medical personnel rushed onto the field to tend to him. As he was carted off, his eyes were open, and Lockette raised his right arm to the sky. He had movement in both hands.

Heath was whistled for a personal foul penalty on the play for what officials called a blindside block.

Defensive lineman Michael Bennett and other Seahawks players went out onto the field afterward and exchanged words with Cowboys players before the two sides were separated.

"I thought it was a classless play from everybody down," Bennett said. "I thought their coach could have come to the aid of our player to see if he was ok. That's what Pete Carroll would have done. I thought Jason Garrett could have done a better job of that."

After the game, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant angrily denied wishing harm upon Lockette, in response to a Vine video that allegedly showed Bryant making derogatory remarks at him.
