— -- What hasn't been said about Tom Brady. The man's achievements and life off the field can fill a book. Having said that, there is still an unwritten chapter in the quarterback's stellar career -- and Super Bowl XLIX could be the moment he enters the pantheon of all-time NFL great.

Brady's career numbers are among the best in league history. He's fifth on the all-time list for career passing yards and fifth for career touchdown passes. Brady has also led the Pats to 12 division titles since 2000 and has won two league MVP awards.

His regular season dominance has translated into tremendous postseason success, where he has a 20-8 record in the playoffs. That includes two Super Bowl MVP awards.

Brady is also the only quarterback to lead his team to six Super Bowl appearances. The list goes on and on and at 37-years old he shows no signs of slowing down.

His 49 playoff touchdown passes are the most in NFL history. For the Patriots' sake, they hope he adds a few more this Sunday.

Away from the field, Tom Brady's movie star looks have landed him plenty of endorsement deals and a supermodel wife. He's hosted "Saturday Night Live" and appeared on "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy." Plain and simple, being Tom Brady is pretty awesome.

It may sound crazy, but at one time Brady was an underdog.

He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft with 198 other college football players picked before him. At the time, Brady was considered the fourth string quarterback when he arrived in New England.

It wasn't until next season when Pro Bowl quarterback Drew Bledsoe was injured and Brady stepped in.
