When Mountain Dew's “Puppymonkeybaby” ad debuted during Super Bowl 50, it immediately started trending worldwide, also marking the first in-game ad for the soft drink company in more than 15 years.
The ad celebrates the release of four new, bold Mountain Dew Kickstart flavors. The four new flavors are: midnight grape, watermelon, blueberry pomegranate and blood orange.
Kickstart fuses three things: Dew, fruit juice and caffeine, a company representative told ABC News this week.
The ad "stars a quirky, albeit endearing character that is also comprised of three awesome things fans love in a Super Bowl commercial – a puppy, a monkey and a baby," the Mountain Dew rep said.
