TechBytes: Amazon Price Check

Nov. 26, 2010— -- Going shopping on Black Friday? You can bring Amazon along. The company launched a free iPhone app called price check. Shoppers can scan a bar code, take a picture or say the product's name to access Amazon. If Amazon sells the product, shoppers can click and buy it.

Earlier this week, Apple released new software for the iPad. It lets users multi-task, organize apps into folders and print wirelessly. USA Today's Ed Baig was impressed with the air play entertainment feature.

"You can stream stuff from your iPad: movies, pictures and stuff to your big screen TV, an HDTV, wirelessly. Now it worked in my tests. I did hit a couple of hiccups where a slide show, the interval between slides, the timing seemed a bit off, watching on the TV compared to the iPad" Baig said. "But overall, this feature has a lot of potential."
