Tablet Tuesday is about to kick into high gear. Sure, Microsoft's Surface has already gone on sale and Nokia has just announced new Windows tablets, but Apple's about to pull the curtain off the tablet that started it all. This morning in San Francisco, Apple will hold an event at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET to unveil its latest iPad and iPad Mini.

You can catch up on what to expect at the event here, but in short Apple is said to have a thinner, lighter and faster full-sized iPad ready for launch. It also is expected to reveal the iPad Mini with a higher-resolution Retina Display.

To add to all of that, the company is expected to detail its latest Mac computers, including new MacBook Pros with Retina Displays and a new Mac Pro desktop. Those computers are expected to run the latest version of OS X Mavericks. Apple is also expected to announce the release date of the new software for current Mac users.
