— -- We've heard of drone deliveries, drone photography and even Martha Stewart using the devices to monitor her farm, but what about a spectacle starring drones?

A drone circus this wild could only take place in Amsterdam.

The Air 2015 show will bring aerial entertainment to the Amsterdam Arena in The Netherlands sometime this fall, according to a trailer for the event that was posted on YouTube.

"In this high energy and explosive show, drones will take centre stage to bring a collaboration and fusion of music, video, projections and special effects," the show's organizers wrote on its website. "Air allows you to experience a variety of ballet and battles, races and lasers, circus, illusions and most of all magic from hundreds of drones."

Audience members at what is sure to be a trippy show will be immersed in a 3-D experience, according to the show's website, making it an only-in-Amsterdam kind of experience.
