Dec. 20, 2011 — -- In today's TechBytes: It's a big day for Star Wars fans. Electronic Arts is releasing the online adventure "Star Wars: The Old Republic."

The much-anticipated game is set 3,000 years before the rise of Darth Vader.

Review: "The Adventures of Tintin"

"The Adventures of Tintin" game, based on the Spielberg film, takes players around the world to solve crimes.

Parenting's Rachel Fishman Feddersen says the game really brings Tintin to life.

"Tintin is known for having a really beautiful, rich, story and really beautiful detail — the costumes and the landscapes and the characters. And the game is very true to all of that."

"The Adventures Of Tintin" is available for all major gaming platforms, and retails for $40.
