TechBytes: Snap Tax App, H-P Rolls Out Netbooks, Tablets

Jan. 17, 2011— -- Filing your taxes may be easier this year thanks to Intuit's Snap Tax smart phone app.

The maker of the popular TurboTax software allows you to take a picture of your W-2 form and Snap Tax will fill in the rest.

Select the "File Now" option and your forms are on their way.

HP's New Netbooks and Tablets

Hewlett-Packard has announced it will introduce new tablets and netbooks next month.

The devices will run on an updated version of Palm's original Web OS operating system, software they acquired when HP bought Palm last summer.

The products are expected to launch Feb. 9.

Hottest New iPhone Game

The hottest new iPhone game, Bubble Ball, was designed by eighth grader, Robert Nay.

More than two million people have downloaded Bubble Ball for free and Nay is already hard at work on the next game.

"It's pretty cool," said Nay. "I never thought my game would do that well."
