Where to Find the Best Travel Deals This Summer

The good news: If you’re planning to stay stateside this summer but haven’t yet booked travel, no need to stress. A new report from travel giant TripAdvisor found the best time to find a domestic hotel deal is within two months of the trip.

If, on the other hand, your travels are going to take you abroad, it’s time to get cracking. Depending on the destination, the best hotel deals are found as many as four months out.

And though summer is the most popular time of year to travel – yes, even more popular than Thanksgiving – there are still plenty of deals to be had. Here are three great deals in popular summer destinations that are bookable right now.

The Big Apple While native New Yorkers are fleeing the steamy city streets for other locales in the summer months, the rest of the world is flocking to the Big Apple. New York is notorious for high hotel rates, but a promotion from Triumph Hotels puts seven of its properties on sale for up to 40 percent off. But here’s the catch: the Seize Your Summer sale is 24 hours only – from midnight on April 26 to midnight on April 27.
