— -- Traveling in this economy can be scary — so what better time to plan a stay at the former home of the Queen of Crime? The doors to Agatha Christie's Devon, England, home recently opened to visitors looking to tour it. And you can stay where the famed mystery writer holidayed.
Two floors of Greenway House are available as a vacation retreat and can accommodate up to 10. Although Christie did not write novels here, it and its gardens are the setting for three of her books, including Dead Man's Folly. The apartment includes five bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room and two baths. A week-long rental begins at around $3,000. Visit royal-oak.org or www.nationaltrustcottages.co.uk for more information.
