Is Oasis of the Seas too big?

— -- It's innovative, for sure. But is it too big? The question has lingered ever since Royal Caribbean announced plans to build Oasis of the Seas -- by far the largest cruise ship ever.

At 225,000 tons, the soon-to-debut vessel will have nearly 40% more public space than the largest cruise ships now afloat, with an unprecedented number of passengers on board -- as many as 6,300 on some voyages.
