A truck linked to two missing Missouri women was found on a dusty, country road this weekend, raising concerns about foul play.

Britny Haarup, 19, and Ashley Key, 22, were last seen Friday morning in their Edgerton, Missouri home.

Haarup's fiancé Matt Meyers reportedly found their two children alone in their crib when he returned home that evening. Meyers then ran to neighbors and said there was blood inside the house.

Police were called to the scene.

"I can't make any comment as to foul play or not at this point, obviously its unusual circumstances, with the mothers disappearing," said Platte County Sheriff Captain Erik Holland of the Platte County Police Department.

On Saturday morning, a white pick-up truck belonging to the father of Haarup's fiancé was found abandoned miles from the women's home.

No visible signs of foul play were found in or on the vehicle, police said.

Several local law enforcement agencies worked together to conduct a search of the area where the truck was found, but the search did not produce any evidence or information.

"The truck was our last solid lead to find them and now that that's found we don't know what we're looking for, we don't who we're looking for, or what area they're in or anything," said Paul Haarup, the girls' father.

The purses of both women and Haarup's cell phone were found inside the house, but bed sheets from the home were reportedly missing. The family is now on a desperate search for answers.

Haarup's father is pleading with the public to look out for his daughter.

"When you're on the road, just look in the next car, you know? They're somewhere, they've got to be somewhere," said Paul Haarup.

"She is a very good mother; she would never leave her kids at home, especially for that amount of time," said Cassandra Meyers, Haarup's sister-in-law.

Haarup's two children are 6 months old and 18 months old.

Friends and family members held a candlelight vigil Saturday night in Edgerton, Missouri to pray for the women's safe return.
