— -- ABC News Meteorologist Mel explains how this week's weather forecast could impact your fantasy football league.

Cowboys vs. Steelers in Pittsburgh:

A dome team visiting Pittsburgh in mid-November means bad news for the Dallas Cowboys. It’s been so warm around the country lately, but a big cold blast is coming to the Northeast this weekend, and the wind chill in Pittsburgh will be hovering around only 40 degrees during the game late Sunday afternoon. Looking back, Dez Bryant hasn’t played in a cold weather game since 2014, in which he didn’t score a touchdown and last week he only got one catch for 19 yards. Between his low usage and the cool temperatures, it is wise to look for a better option. The Steelers' defense is weak against the run, so the Cowboys will surely capitalize on that with their star rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot. He should be locked in to start in all leagues, as he is projected to keep his hot streak going. Don’t let the cold weather scare you either; Elliot is fresh out of The Ohio State University, so he’s used to it. Ben Roethlisberger struggled last week against the Baltimore Ravens, but will look to improve this week back at home in chilly Pittsburgh, so give him another chance in your lineup this week.

Seahawks vs. Patriots in New England:

Temperatures will be dropping fast by Sunday night, in the low 40s at kickoff and then dropping into the 30s by the second half of the game. The Seahawks' offensive line won't do too well in the cold weather against the Patriots at home this week. Sit Christine Michael, he only rushed five times for one yard on Monday, and a matchup in a cold Foxborough makes him an even riskier play. The Seahawks’ rookie RB C.J. Prosise is cutting into his workload and now it looks like Thomas Rawls could return next week, so Michael’s fantasy value is slowly diminishing. The cold doesn’t bother Tom Brady, who is an obvious start, but it's still hard to get behind starting Julian Edelman so far this season. There’s a lot of passing options on the Patriots right now, he just got his first touchdown of the season, and this week their playing a tough Seattle defense. My favorite players to start in this matchup are both tight ends -- Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham.

Here are your top 10 players to start and sit based on the weather this week:

The 2001 AFC Divisional game goes by many names -- the most popular being the Snow Bowl or the Tuck Rule Game. But to Oakland Raiders fans it was the game they should have won. The game was played against the Patriots in Foxborough, so of course it was very cold and very snowy. But it actually became famous because of a sack made by Charles Woodson on Tom Brady. It looked like Brady fumbled the ball and it was recovered by the Raiders. But after reviewing the play, Brady actually stopped his passing motion and attempted to tuck the ball into his body, so it was considered an incomplete pass and the Patriots got the ball back. The tuck rule was added into the books just two years earlier, but it was so controversial it ended up being changed in 2013. The Patriots finished the drive with a 45-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri that tied the game, and they eventually won in overtime. It brought the Patriots to their first Super Bowl win, but Raiders fans still believe this was the game that got away.
